Leave it in that guy’s backyard. Spend $1500 on something else.

there is still some meat on the bone
Fenders. Wheels. windows.
personally, I don’t have time for this... but if I did, it’s slap some junk yard parts into it... race it off road or some mexican race.
Probably would be too much to get paperwork done right on it at this point

Like what?
![]() 06/27/2016 at 15:20 |

I know the proper Oppo response would be all sorts of weird engine swaps and body kits but honestly I’d pass on it and if I owned it I’d sell what parts I could and then scrap it. The deciding factor for me is the lack of title and how much it would take to get it running vs what one in rough but running condition would cost.

Didn’t click on the link. Just saw image. Whatever tho. Still axles and other bits to be sold for parts.

Was that a corolla or camry at the beginning of its life?

In my town there’s a is300 with a blown transmission I had my eye on during tax season. But the shop owner couldn’t ever get the title, owner in jail etc etc. That one had a rough/riced body and tired interior The timing belt was changed at 218k miles. It at least came with the 2jz and wheels. I was going to offer $400 for it with dreams of a manual swap with a pragmatic (and much more likely)part-out back up plan. It’s been sitting for a few more months now so the restoration wouldn’t even be worth the buy in. Oh well.
Point being that this shell is worth it's weight in scrap.

I’d plop a 1gzfe v12 in it.
lol no I'd probably just keep it simple with some sort of UZ v8.

Leave it there and put the money into my Jeep, or getting an apartment with my girlfriend or a myriad of other things that I wouldn't hate.
![]() 06/27/2016 at 15:50 |

oh, wtf? Who would pay money for this?
Best I can do is a handshake.
![]() 06/27/2016 at 15:51 |

What would I do? A 13 year old, literal shell of a car sans title?
Keep. Driving.

There’s a few Lexus guys at work who I love to tweak with “nice Camry/Corolla!”
